The Federal Revenue Service requires that the bonded areas authorized to receive goods from the Manaus Duty Free Zone to be sent to other parts of the country have an automated control system:

- To record the entry and exit of vehicles;
- To record the entry and exit of goods; and
- To issue the reports required by the Federal Revenue Service according to their Declaratory Act.

Bonded Area Qualification

Company established in the ZFM, with "Active" status in the National Registry of Legal Persons, and that:

• Has been provably operating in freight services for at least one year.

• Meets the requirements to provide a clearance certificate for debts pertaining to taxes and contributions charged by the Federal Revenue Service (RFB);

• Has a site to receive goods to be transported to other parts of the country, meeting the conditions and requirements stipulated and implementation schedule;

• Allows continuous access by the RFB to the automated system that controls the entry, movements, and exit of vehicles and cargo, and issues bills of lading and cargo manifests.
